IMPORTANT INFORMATION PETS It could be said that in our town there are more animals than humans and we are delighted to welcome more four-legged guests. Please contact us using the form below, prior to making your reservation, to ensure that one of our pet-friendly rooms is available for your dates. We charge a one-time additional fee of €10 per animal. You can reserve a maximum of 2 animals per room. Our pet friendly rooms are Cova, Terra, Ar and Lume. Please note that a cat also lives at the property, and there are other dogs living in our small village. We do not allow dogs to be left in the room when leaving the property. Pets PILGRIMS We are only 2.7 km from the Trabada route of the Camino de Santiago and 7 km from the Lourenzá route. We offer the service of taking you / picking you up, from any of these routes, if you request it previously. From the Trabada route (Pazo de Tovar) the service is €4 and from the Lourenzá route, €10. You can contact us for other transfers. We provide laundry service for €8. For bike pilgrims we have covered bike storage. Pilgrims KIDS Children from 6 years old are welcome at Casa Rural Norita. Our Deluxe Twin room and Cova room have the capacity to install an extra bed. We have some games and toys for children. To provide a tranquil stay for all our guests we do not admit children under the age of 6. Kids ACCESSIBILITY Casa Rural Norita is located on a mountainside, and our garden is on a slope. You can access the main entrance via a slightly sloping cobbled path. We have a ground floor bedroom with minimal step access and extra wide doors (80 cm / 31.5 inches). If you require another type of accessibility, please contact us using the following form before finalizing your reservation and we will try to meet your needs and requirements. Your deposit will be returned minus our payment provider administration fee of 3% For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival, we reserve the right to retain the deposit to cover cost/lost reservations. Cancellation policy HOW TO GET HERE How to get here Casa Rural Norita is located approximately 130 km from A Coruña Airport and Asturias Airport and 140 km from Santiago de Compostela Airport. If you arrive from the highway A-8 towards A Coruña, take exit 534 Lourenzá. If you arrive by highway A-8 towards Oviedo, take exit 536 Lourenzá. Follow the signs to Lourenzá. Turn right when you reach Lourenzá and go past the town. Once past the church, turn left onto LU 122. After 1.2 miles, turn left at the small bridge. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto LU 8201. Follow the road for 1.6 km and then turn right at the sign for As Pantigueiras. When the road splits in two, turn left, go up the hill, then turn right down the hill and follow the signs for Casa Rural Norita, which is at the end of the road. Sustainable hotel in Galicia, with waste reduction and locally sourced produce. SUSTAINABILITY ENERGY AND WATER CONSUMTION It is often the small details that can make the biggest impact; therefore we ask guests to be mindful of turning off the lights and electrical appliances when not in use. All light features use low energy LED bulbs. To help reduce our water consumption we ask our guests to consume water consciously and to hang towels to dry to use again. Though we offer bottled water for sale, we strongly encourage our guests to take advantage of our fresh mountain water. The water is cleaner than that found in plastic bottles, and filtered through ultra violet light for extra security. The sun heats our water, reducing our carbon footprint, while allowing our guests the pleasure of a hot shower. In winter the house is partly heated by solar heated water as well as locally sourced wood. In summer, the 60 cm thick stone walls helps keep the house cool, avoiding the need for air conditioning. SOURCING In our kitchen, nothing is wasted, and we have always been mindful of where we source our produce. We use 0 km food where possible, bringing in fresh, seasonal produce from our garden for the enjoyment of our guests. When our garden cannot provide, we source from local growers and producers. REDUCING PLASTIC We encourage our guests to refill water bottles rather than buy new, and offer free, high quality mountain water for our guest. Individually packaged hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, toothbrushes and shower caps are being phased out and replaced by refill, sustainable options. We take a conscious approach to sourcing produce to ensure we use the low plastic alternatives where possible.

We are fully trained and certified by local authority standards and are certified (Medidas De Prevención Da COVID-19 Na Hostalería E Restauración). As such we ensure: Surface cleaning in common areas – the reception, living room, restaurant and other common areas are sanitised in line with protocols, products and medical frequency. Room sanitising – we use highly effective cleaning products on all surfaces, objects and decorative items, and cleaning protocols for laundering textiles. Ventilation to ensure adequate levels of CO2 in shared areas. All guests are required to wear masks at all times and respect distance measures.
